As an outsider looking in I would have to agree that it's a pretty low act to not even bother compensating anyone for their designs or time. At a minimum you could have perhaps offered a small token amount to the best design you saw thus far even though it's not the professional logo you were after. I'm sure this would have gone some way in keeping the DP community happy. Being new to the forums with zero itrader it's posts like this which will make it difficult to get contributors to the contest I plan on running shortly.
It will make it difficult Dansky yes, but if you keep the contest short, give a very specific run down of what you're looking for, and give lots of informative, helpful feedback, you should be ok.
