What do you mean under email marketing. I assume you need explain some details in meaning for us now to understand that better and be able to recommend you something

 

I am creating this thread to know more about email marketing. And i think it is clear in my post.

But i read somewhere on the net that email marketing is a good way of marketing which helps to increase sales of your products and also helps in getting more visitors to your site....

 

Yes! I do have got some good output from email marketing. I bought some leads and then started email marketing.

 

If you own a blog or website that is frequently updated w/ interesting posts/articles then email marketing can be a great way to drive traffic. Add a widget to your site to allow visitors to sign up for a newsletter. Send out a weekly or monthly newsletter with teasers and links back to your site for recent posts/articles. It can drive a significant amount of traffic IF you have good content.

One word of caution... If you have a significant number of subscribers then consider outsourcing your email delivery to a 3rd party that specializes in bulk email distribution. There is a bit of an art to preventing your domain from getting blacklisted at Gmail, Yahoo! mail, AOL, and other sites where you are likely to be sending a lot of your email.

 

With the right product, a great website, and the right attitude, e-mail marketing campaigns can be super-successful! I have worked with e-mail campaigns before, and I can tell you that it did drive return customers back to our site; it also brought us new customers with the "send this e-mail to a friend" link at the bottom of each e-mail campaign. We sent coupons to people, who signed up to receive our e-mail campaigns.

The most important thing is to build a permission-based list, and do not spam.

I used Constant Contact, which was awesome. Aside from the e-mail templates, customer support, and ease of use, Constant Contact had wonderful e-mail campaign stats and e-mail list management capabilities.

email marketing is good. But it depends on the product , what type of services you are giving or what type of product you are selling .
