You were NOT checking if a page is indexed by Google. You were checking if it is in Google cache! And these are different things. Yeah well that was 6 months ago. The URL was crawled, Google could not access it, it did get a PR. So no matter whether they can access the page or not, it can get a PR - that was what I meant but considering it's been many months, it's hardly relevant anymore. Why did you dig this up?
I've find it accidentally. Does anyone else have a proof that pages that were not indexed by Google ever, can also get PR increase?
