People forget that Bing is just Live with a visual marketing makeover. Bing will do as well as Live did with the exception of a sudden popularity burst. It'll die down. The new features aren't enough to get Googlers to switch.
I agree that bing does as well as Live but a factor should be noticed that bing has changed its different algorithm and now is becoming a real competitor with Google.
Now I think bing+yahoo (binghoo or microhoo or what it'll be) sure will beat google. It is the matter of time
For those who want the Bing to crawl his website faster http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1448077
Bing will never be #1. Everyone keeps about talking money and advertising. Google doesn't need to advertise, however if they wanted to... they could. Google has 14.4 BILLION DOLLARS IN CASH RESERVES. JUST SITTING. THEY COULD RUN SUPER BOWL ADS EVERY YEAR, EVERY SINGLE COMMERCIAL, FOR 150 YEARS... JUST WITH CASH RESERVES. Google is the defacto search engine for nearly anyone smart enough to type in a URL without http://www. It is ingrained in our minds as the only search engine that matters. We love it because of simplicity. Who gives a fuck if Bing can search for airfares. I CAN SEARCH FOR AIRFARES AS WELL IN GOOGLE. TRY THIS ONE "AIRFARES." Bing is nothing new, and all Microsoft is doing is trying to get their piece of the pie. They know they will never be anywhere near Google. But there's plenty of money for 2nd place. The Internet will be gone before Google is #2.
Google market value is only $150 Billion while Microsoft is $500 Billion. It would take only $1 Billion to bring Bing to number 1.
It is quite true as Bing also releases its Bing Map http://www.bing.com/maps/ it is now a betta version with 3D but I'm expecting to see the full version in the nearest future
What can I say...good for BING. Honestly I liked yahoo better. My reasons are selfish. While in Google I had rankings of #3, #4 for some keywords in yahoo it was easier to get that #1 spot.
