wordpress importing file that you exported. please help

    I am trying to import a wordpress xml file.

    when i try to import it , i get this message

    The upload of the file to be imported is unsuccessful? Maybe something wrong with the directory privileges.

    This error is outputted by wordpress or some custom script?

    That may be permission related. Failed to open stream inherently means the server or app cant find said file.

    It looks like folder permissions problem. Change attributes of uploads folder to 777.
