    Without concrete proof- "Please Don't Fool Around"

    DP is slowly becoming a place of serious webmasters - and not for those who indulge in un-ethical practices like concealed viral marketing by way of breaking sensational non-news items.

    I have no problem - if you post a news with proof - but - please don't mislead people for the sake of few visitors.

    I'm in the business of high PR blog comment service. So i can confirm that there has been no PR update recently. Latest one was on 15th of June. It was like a split Google PR update. First one in May and 2nd one in mid June.

    I'm always amazed at all the posters who post in threads like this with something like: "No change for me."

    #1 — Who cares?
    #2 — There can be a PR update without your toolbar PR changing. In fact, once your website is well established, with lots of backlinks, more likely than not you'll keep the same PR from update to update. Some established sites will change. Many will not.

    I know websites with pr 4-5 and that are in first 10k according to alexa. I'd prefer traffic instead of PR. Keep working on your traffic instead of killing time to raise your pr.

    I'm guessing there is no pr change, but how do people know if there is? Does google post it somewhere? Not that it affects me. If I get a pr of 1 I will throw a party!

    Google has started to update the Visible PR all the time. I think a time will soon come when visible PR will update everyday.

    I think they may be updating. One of my sites didn't appear at all for a certain chain of words and now it appears as the #1 result for the words so idk.
