I'm glad they did it too. Because nothing demonstrates how weak, fragile and indefensible the religious position is better than censorship.
Ireland was never too advanced when it comes to personal freedom. Actually it was very backward, especially when it came to rights of women. This hasn't changed much. What is called "offending" religious beliefs is actually "mocking" religion beliefs. To my view, free people who think for themselves, do not hold arbitrary childish and irrational beliefs, and should mock those who do have, instead of "respect" them. This is the only chance for humanity to advance to the next stage and be able to cope with the challenges of this century: pollution, over population, poverty, etc'. Well said. laws who restrict basic personal freedoms as the right to say who one thinks about "god" and the people who follow it makes you happy. Another example why you do not share the values of the society you live in.
