If you have a wordpress site/blog, have you upgraded to the latest version which is 2.8.2 (Released today - 20th July 2009).

If you have upgraded how did you upgrade automatically or manually and did you find any problems upgrading or was it plain sailing ?

    Kind Regards

I've upgraded 3 of my sites this morning, auto, no problems. all 3 of them are running various plugins 15-20 each and they all seem to work fine so far.

Yeah i upgraded today because of the issue it was addressing.

I upgrade manually, prefer to do it that way.

one from 2.8 and two from 2.8.1.

I have a 2.7 one to do later this week up to 2.8.2, but I haven't because of some custom work on the plugins.

You should really not keep the 2.7

We upgrade our clients via SVN automatically. That way we know all of our clients are up to date and we hopefully don't have to worry about clients getting hacked and the like.

Upgraded 5 out of the dozen wordpress sites we run.

Everything done manually. Takes some time but you know what they say: "patience is a virtue"

Better get busy upgrading than being sorry later ;)

I upgraded around 10 sites from 2.8.1 to 2.8.2 the other day, automatically. Everything went smoothly.

Better to upgrade soon than have someone being able to take over your admin panel later!

I upgraded one of my sites and did not have any problems. When I upgrade, I do it through FTP and run the upgrade command manually. You will learn more by doing it yourself, as compared to letting the script do it for you.
