I have recently become aware that they banned my account in their support forums, after I shared my unhappy opinion about their scripts. I asked questions, attempted to get help, even pointed out bugs in their scripts. They then proceeded to ban my account to keep my opinion from their would-be customers. Don't buy their scripts. They have horrible support, their scripts are buggy, and if you get to vocal about your unhappiness they cut all support for any scripts you've bought from them by banning your account. I would strongly suggest avoiding them at all costs, as you will very likely be unhappy with their service. I hope this serves as a warning to some that may be considering purchasing any of their scripts. Please move this thread if necessarily, but I felt this warning directly ties to those that would be viewing this forum, and perhaps come across any of X10Media's scripts. Please comment and continue to grow this thread if you to have experienced poor customer service from X10. Thanks.
what has always had me confused about x10media, is all the users here that are pushing the x10media products: killer27 active user Afgunz active user kip active user x10media active user yanndc banned toffee77 banned MusicLemon banned MudiW banned makes me wonder how many of these accounts are the same person.
Don't confuse me. I sold the site back in January of this year. Most of the others are probably support reps, or affiliates.
well thats good to know, many folks have had a hand in that site. who did you sell it too, a DP member?
I don't want you guys to think that I am promoting their website or anything But I bought this mp3 script from them and it works fine for my website. Maybe you guys are talking about other scripts. If that is the case, which scripts should I not buy from them
About the business and accounts: The business was sold to "Yanndc" killer27 active user -> Marketing Manager Afgunz active user -> Affiliates, Marketing Staff kip active user -> former Owner x10media active user yanndc banned -> Owner, Banned because DP taught he was the same person as toffee77 toffee77 banned -> Marketing Reponsible, Banned because DP taught she was the same person as yanndc Both of this ban are based on "same IP" wich was an error since They are not the same person (As of today, 25 people work at x10media) Just by taking a few minutes to read the posts you can see that they are not the same. MusicLemon banned --> Former employee MudiW banned --> Former employee To come back to Johnny Doomo, I will not discuss his case more than saying he is a frustrated client. It happens once in a while. He did not followed the process for the support and he not feels like he was not helped. If DP needs more explanation about forums accounts, PM me... Thanks.
kinda coincidental you and Yanndc both have the same ip number. i also want to know if you got all these sales people, supposedly affiliates, yet no affiliate links. when someone buys from x10media, how do you know who referred the customer?
Maybe since I sold it, but before I sold it, I was the person who started the site, and kept no other hands in it besides myself. No one else had access to the orders, etc. Only people that were, was employees. Yellowberry, I am sure if you contact Yann, the new owner, I am sure he can work something out with you. I am working on a few projects as why I haven't been here, but I would hate to be banned over this thread when I have nothing to do with x10media since Jan, 09.
They have the same IP number thats kind of strange even if i know KIP for a long time it is still strange
Is DP banning members for same IP? What if two or three employees work in the same building and use DP as a resource?
no, people aren't banned because they come from the same ip, other factors are also considered. this is something i cannot go into. suffice to say, if your in a situation where this may occur, its best to contact a moderator beforehand to let them know that this is indeed the case. they will need to know all user names involved. users are expected to abide by the rules, and thread bumping, iTrader exchange between these types of members is forbidden and subject to harsh penalty.
Well Kip PLEASE say that you are working on a new mp3 search script? I bought my script from you ages ago and never had any problems, i was registered at the forum but with almost no posts, the last 6 months x10Media has gone down, and YES Yann Im a frustrated customer and you can not say it happens once in a while, to prove me wrong, open your supports forum publicly and EVERY one can see how happy your clients are. I was banned recently, so this means i can not get any support aether now, and as I have told you in your own forum, you are forcing people to use the nulled version of the script. I have to do it now since i can not get any support, and even when i wasnt banned, I told openly in your forum that I was going to use the nulled version (remember I payed for the script), this because of the license issue you have. For every one that doesnt know, this is how Yanns x10media script works at the moment, ALL scripts that have been sold uses a license, which works like this. They are connected to Yann's server and send request to that server, YES ALL OF THEM, so you can guess what happens with that server every day, well if you can not guess, it goes down.. and when that server is down NO ONE ELSES site works aether.. You have one option and that is to not use the license, which means that you have to use the nulled version. The only thing is that the new version of the script is encoded with something that i cant remember now but I have been told that its pretty much not possible to null it any more.. So Im begging to god that Kip works on a new mp3 script, ill give x10media maximum 2 months to survive then.. ALL clients from there would get Kips new script and leave x10Media without thinking.. PS: Yes my site uses the script, Kips script or Yanns nulled if you wana see it that way...
How do we have the same IP, when I don't even live in the same country as him?? Again, I am sorry. I do not own x10media any longer, nor do I do any programming for the company. I currently signed a 2 year compete clause so I can not do anything with or against.
I ment that I was hoping you were working on a new mp3 script, not working on x10media. I know you are not affiliated with them any more and thats why we are needing you to do something. I understand if you dont do anything with a mp3 script any more, we just HOPE you come back with something like this again. Yann is surely not doing anything to get x10media up and running properly, his way to solve the problem is to just ban the customers that complain which actually bought the scripit with or because of the support. Any how Kip i hope you are doing well and good luck with your new projects.
