    I've been banned three times I believe. All three 7 day bans. I think I got one because I accidently posted something in the wrong section lol. But I think two were for bumping or replying to a post in freebies I wasn't supposed to :p. Havn't been banned in a while I've smartened up ;).

    You should rephrase it, "I didn't post much" will be better. What you had post
    "im inerested too" which resulted in a 7 day BST Ban is frankly Zero Entropy. If till now, you do not know why you were banned, it is best to read our FAQ over and over again.

    "i am interested" isnt content worth posting as far as the rules are concerned.. You agreed to the rules when you registered so you can't complain.

    If you're interested, then contact the seller / offering party directly, whether it be publicly or privately.. If the person posting in BST says no PMs, he/she is breaking the rules (I think) by doing so.. They must accept PMs.

    ps: this isnt a personal lecture or anything, and is not a reflection of my own views, im simply stating the rules thus reasons behind your banning.

    Yeah sawz, I agreed, one should be punished for their known mistake. . I did make mistake for my last ban, But i just asked for review copy that's it :p

    But i made myself clear that everyone was banned in that thread, So something wrong with that. Anyway now a days am careful to avoid Ban.

    I felt really boring without participating in DP :p Well nice to see, you are cleaning DP as fast as possible. I think warning is appreciated than banning :p

    You should learn to appreciate quality control more.. Quality control isnt just for Shaun's (or the moderators') ease... It's actually a precaution all forums should take to prevent the board from being overrun by rulebreakers and cheats...
    It just so happens that this forum is so big that rules have to just be followed 100% strict to maintain this kind of moderation... Otherwise there is too much leeway for rule breakers, and things become unfair..

    Come on jack, I just appreciated sawz, There is nothing wrong, Rules should be followed, And i said, i didn't feel anything bad about my ban, I just felt that i deserved it. .

    Still members should not get frustrated with these ban, That's my point buddy!!

    Perhaps I misunderstood you, I do apologise :)

    With regards to the "I think warnings are more appreciated than bannings" - Back in the day, DP rarely banned people.. And did issue warnings.. But people abused the fact that warnings had no real value punishment behind them... So as a result, the rule enforcement became more strict..

    I don't blame the moderators for how strict they are, I blame those who can't abide by the rules.. (having said that, I have had two small infractions on my account in total.. But I sure learnt fast ;))

    come on jack, There is nothing to ask apologies dude, You are right, Some people are taking warnings lightly which results careless and also doing something craps.

    Being strict is quite good, But still it shouldn't affect good and careful members :D Well now a days i can't see "PM sent and I am interested" kinda posts. It's good to see, :D

    Agree 100%, the "PM me I'm interested" posts really, REALLY annoy me now, so I'm glad to see the back of them. :)
    (FYI, my two infractions are actually for those types of posts >.< But I am not a hypocrite, for I actually learnt from it... it just bugs me that so many people don't now. >.<)
