Yes, this exact thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago.

I had about 30 sites banned from the Google index, all of which had adsense on them. I had other sites I hadn't put adsense on yet, that were exactly the same in every way, (Links, content, etc) and they weren't touched.

It appears that Google will look at one of your sites, and not like it, so they do a search for your adsense publisher ID and ban all of the sites that currently use it.

It sucks because I wasn't breaking any rules. All of my sites had 100% original content, no black hat methods used. The only thing I could say about them is that the content wasn't great. It wasn't spam, or rehashed content, but it was just not very helpful. I guess Google considers that if your content is not of the highest of quality they don't want it in their index anymore.

PM me if you wanna discuss it further...

Damn... collective punishment. So only 1 erring site is enough to get the WHOLE NETWORK destroyed.

I presume Google first notifies about the misuse. If they do not, then it's a huge problem in a collection of networks.

Donno when Google would learn the etiquette.

Google did not notify me in anyway, nor did they respond to my e-mail I sent asking why. Only after a little research did I realize it was *only* sites I had currently, or ever put adsense on before.

Even sites that didn't have my adsense code on them anymore, but had it on in the past month or so, got banned.

It was very discouraging because they didn't give any warnings, but did not consider what I was doing to be against their TOS I guess, because they didn't touch my adsense account, just the sites that had adsense on them.

I haven't given up, I am still making sites, but I am making them a lot better, and being very careful not to be spammy or anything.

My only concern is that I will spend another $1000 only to have my sites banned again with no worrying or possible way of pleading my case.

The content just wasn't very useful & I used the keywords a lot on purpose. Nothing ridiculous or any black hat methods whatsoever though.

The 2 are not related. You could be banned from the Google search engine but still use have an adsense account.

Quick update on this: My colleague received an email from Adsense. It is standard boilerplate crap from Google regarding reinclusion blah blah blah.

After further investigation, the culprit might be the same privacy/terms page that is shared among all the affected sites.

Think. If you were Google and had the ability to find out if people were scamming you, wouldn't you want to do it?

No they don't Google search has nothing to do with Google AdSnese. Those doesn't effect each other. Otherwise since its against AdSense TOS to use Adult, gambling or some other type of sites those all would had removed from Google search.

    So don't worry about it.

The exact same thing happened to me! Different Ip's, a few different themes, ban was definetly by adsense ID footprint. My sites look good and are not spammy! Just one of them was not that good!

Don't know what to do!!! Ask for reinclusion for 30 sites?!?!?

Mine were not banned yet, from first positions to position 50-60.
