As we cannot control the external, inbound links to our site we cannot stipulate if they will remain or not as we have no control over them. Although many of the links would be from the 200-300 manual directory submissions we did.

Those are all good questions. In regards to the registrar it is with Virtual-Voyage.com (GoDaddy.com Affiliate) and expires on 1/11/2007.

In terms of the trademark issue I'm 99% certain this is not an issue. And there are two reasons why:

1. We've contacted the support staff several times about issues and they've then viewed the site. They have never made any comments about the domain including their name.
2. There are dozens of well earning "Host Gator Review" affiliate sites that use their name in the domain. This is done for obvious SEO benefits as "host gator review" is a top searched term.

A potential buyer recently asked for some current ranking stats. We did a couple quick searches and here are some example results for our top search terms and their respective positions.

The most likely reason is the WordPress template we're both using is very popular called "Blix". Any other resemblance would be strictly coincidental as I've actually not seen that site before.
