Improve site traffic, simple SEO

Just wanted to pass this on to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. I was struggling with SEO and getting backlinks. On one of my sites I was only getting around 80 views per day.

I strongly suggest submitting your site to all the free directories on that list. I am 1/4 down the list so far and have submitted to around 8-10 directories and in the first day alone got my views up from 80 a day to 200 and counting so far today.

The only thing is if your site is still under construction or lacking much content don't submit it yet because most the sites check your website before adding it to the directory.

another thing I am just starting to do is join any types of forums I can find, add my link to the sig, and post a few times per day.

ps: strangely enough I just checked my adsense account again for the 2nd time in 1 hour....My clicks didn't go up but I made 1 cent lol.

Submitting sites to free web directories definitely helps, but the directory itself has to be of good quality.
