I`m new in adsense and didn`t want to try it before I hit more than 2000 unique`s. Now that I did, I applied for adsense, placed the ads, only to find out that I had less than 10 clicks in 24 hours. My niche is sports-soccer:FC Barcelona news Now I know that could be an answer to my question. Low paying niche, etc.. But the CTR is still pathetic. Could someone advise me, should I abandon adsense alltogether and join some affiliate marketing? I reckoned that having thousands visitors per day would at least pay for the server costs Thanx
By the way you have a very nice, professionally looking site! Your ad placement is great except the link unit at the very top. Place it right under your navigation. Link units tend to get more hits compared to text ads. And because your website is so well done, I am sure you will have tons of clicks coming your way in the days to come.
In my view your ads plasement may not be attractive or they are not blendded well. you should blend you ads with great care. Always try to use templates which are attractive. Definitely need to move your ads. It is a great site with a lot of information and you could get some good clicks if you just moved the ads. I could barely find them when i went to the site!
Accourding to your Ads, their is no right place so you can change your ads location and belind it and update your site regularly then your future is bright.

you dont have many ads. I only noticed 2. If there are more then I guess thats good I didnt notice. I would say put the biggest square ad (300 or 336) in your second column, the big one next to your big image glider. Then put a link unit under the image glider. background and border white links black. where it says "interviews and columns" in the middle of the lower section, put a 468x60 text unit in there above or below the first post. Maybe put a 768 banner at the bottom of your page too. Just a few suggestions. You have a nice site with a lot of content and room to put in ads and hide them well. Good luck with your earnings.

there are some techniques that may help you in order to earn money through adsense, like you have to place the adsense code between the information. like put it on the center of the information.

What I suggest is to put your 728 x 15 link unit right under the header, where your navigation menu is... somewhere there should be a good place to place the ad unit. and your niche is in a low paying niche. and probably because your site is very colorful, the ads are not that visible to the visitors. make your ads the Star of the site and they will most likely click them.
