My tip is: make 3 products review site hosted in a "keyword rich" domain name. Something like, LoseWeightFast.com then review three weight loss guides and choose one as your first recommendation.

First you need to select which product you want to promote.
select on basis of gravity and future commission.
Then start your adword PPC campaign.I will advice you to use some ppc campaign builder like speedppc to increse your ppc campaign

I mean 3 products review style, it works better. Add three products "guides" and tell your visitors why the first one is the best. Then build your PPC....

There are so many ways you can advertise with PPC. Ideally you should split test different landing pages for example review style, lead capture etc and see which converts better (sales wise not including lead capture of course) :).

The great thing about PPC is that you toe dip into every niche as if you're actually getting near top rank on Google. It's extremely fast so the time you invest into finding a profitable niche or product will be alot less than if you were to try and get targetted traffic via SEO or other sources.

Look around on CB, see what niches are doing well and have strong sales. Is their any up and coming product? More importantly check to see the amount of traffic the top keywords for the niche get and how many advertisers are bidding within that niche on short, mid and long tail keywords.

Here is a good formula to find out whether a product will be profitable straight off the bat.

    COMMISSION/AVG. CPC = ?

If ? is larger then 100 that's pretty damn good running, if less then you may want to rethink.

For example, a product's commission is $50 and the Avg. CPC on the keywords I am bidding on is $0.25.

    50/0.25 = 200.

Those of you who are good at math will realise the formula calculates the conversion ratio required to break even. So if we were to use the above example I'd say with 1:200 to break even we've got pretty damn good odds of making profit straight off the bat.

Of course there are many many many more factors which can influence your conversion rate so use the formula first just to give yourself a rough idea of how many conversions per click through you're going to need to actually make a profit.

As you're new to CB I reccommend you look around this forum, there are some great quality journals you can read such as Peterhols who is now averaging a fair amount a month without PPC.

    Hope this helps :).

Join high paying affiliate programs to offset costs and make your PPC campaign really effective. Use as many keywords as you can to attract all the people in your market.

edrectory has it nailed... as do the others. I'm sure you can see that there are so many ways it is difficult to pin any one down. Use the formulas shown in this chain and check out a few options that Google AdWords offer as well as some of the Marketing assistant/affiliate sites out there.

When I was getting started I researched at least a dozen and learned alot. There are some really fantastic programs out there that can get you moving quickly.
