Is Search Engine submission important for my site? If so, What are the search engines do i need to submit my site?

Why do you need to be listed in small engines?? i mean no one use it

 

Dont waste your time with the smaller search engines. You are not going to get traffic from it. You need to be concerned only about yahoo, google and bing. Maybe dogpile too but if you are in google and yahoo then you are in dog pile Most other search engines derive their database from these bigger search engines.

So my suggestion is get some links to your site. if you cant persuade others to link o you either buy links (Blog reviews or text link ads (Make sure ask them to no follow you. no follow ensures that you does not seem to be buying your way in. True you wont get the link juice benefit for the serp boost but you will certainly get indexed.)) or just bookmark your sites on digg, SU and reditt

 

we do know that not many people use small engines but unfortunately, I have problem indexing for ask and exactseek. I'm on the first page of google (ok, bottom of it) and wouldn't mind getting even a few clicks a day from small engines thus thanks for sharing the list.

yep, submiting our website on small se is useless. they only bring spam email, not traffic.....

 

I would suggest that you submit your site unto big and popular search engine..
It is important to submit your site to SE especially if you really wanna matter with the rankings and traffic

 

first submit your site to google then popular search engines.

let search engine find your website in natural way.

It will take a little bit of time but that with SEO and backlinks just seems like a sure shot to tons of traffic and revenue.
