Why people get backlins to own articles in ezine or goarticles ? I think that better to own sites, why they get backlins to articles ? Do Follow is legal ? I think because I am not sure about it. Thanks & Best Regards.
If you are asking why I might add an article to Ezine with links back to a related URL on my site... and then build relevent links from other sites to my Ezine article, the answer is simple. The inbound links to the Ezine articles from other relevent sites will 1) help to keep that Ezine article indexed at Google (which is often a problem w/ submitted articles after they roll off of the New Articles page), 2) increase the PR of the Ezine article, as well as 3) increase the relevancy scores for the EZine article as it relates to the URL it links to on my site... Links are by default followed. So yes, they are "legal". If you want them to be nofollow links, you have to do something to make them nofollow like: 1) add rel="nofollow" to the link (makes a single outbound link nofollow), 2) add <meta name="robots" content="nofollow"> element to the <head> of a page (makes all outbound links on the page nofollow), or 3) add a Disallow: directive to the robots.txt file for the page in question (makes all links on the page both nofollow and noindex).
Backlinks will increase traffic to your blog as google will give a better page rank if you have more backlinks.
