When google was not then no one can think, that yahoo boss will take birth same in case of GOOGLE we can not say that google will always at top. But company loss value if they do not full fill promises and then competitors take place.
Google is the BOSS."Boss: is probably the right word for that site.Just think about that - Google is maybe the only company with no problems earining in those difficult times for all in the credit/money business(the banks) and from all those people earning from building.Almost everyone searchs Google approx 5-6 times daily.And I do it about 20...With all those PPC programs,yes I think Google is the BOSS.And Google is unbeatable.
google has a tremendous search engine and consistently year after year returns superb results. who can say what the future is and i suspect that like all megacorporations that someday some really smart and innovative upstarts will come along with some better ideas and start a search engine that will outclass google, but for the forseeable future, it's google..... (but look if GM and GE, etc were corporate masters of the world for say, 50-80 years, then google can be king for quite some time; and then again who knows with the times we live in - who would have expected a year or two ago that all the major wall street investment banks/houses some of whom have been around since the end of the civil war, and/or the late 1800s, and survived two world wars and the great depression and dozens of recession, would disappear under the incredible mismanagement of king george and dick cheney? so who knows about the future.....) it's even possible that some idea we haven't thought of, something beyond a 'search engine' will come along and totally revolutionize the world web, etc etc....
I agree with the opinion that nothing stays for ever. Also Google will be beaten or taken over oneday.
Nothing lasts forever. Google are king right now but the internet industry moves so quickly that it can change. Yahoo were once no1 and lost there way and it wil happen with google too
Google has taken huge stride in the search segment and it is constantly consolidating its position which makes it impossible for us to think of it going down....any time soon. But as they say, the only thing constant in this world is 'the change'! You never know..the impossible might happen in a decade, if not next few years! Regards, RightMan
Google can't be beaten because it indexes very fast, that's why it had the advantage, while for Yahoo or Bing takes months to index your sites, Google will index your site in minutes
it can be beaten in future but presently its the boss of the world. You cannot compare it with any other search engines.
How fast it indexes really has nothing to do with it's success. And Google can be compared to every other search engine, they are they same thing. The only reason that Google has become so popular is because of marketing. And the fact that it's been building its brand for the last decade is another good one as to why it's so popular. It has become a part of our culture, and it's become a status symbol, look at how fast a webmaster will panic when their site slips a little in Google, they feel that losing position is like losing some prestigious award. I'll admit, topping Google is a formidable task, but there is absolutely no reason why it couldn't happen. All it would take is people willing to try something different.

are you joking or dreaming buddy . If you combine both search engine then also you can not beat google . You must collect some information about three of them then compare .
google can be king for now but you can not say that it will be there for ever for example if you checked twitter advanced search engine its very powerful and can give search result of even the tweets which were create seceonds earlier i believe if they can make a search engine out it , then they can beat google
