I'm new to affiliate marketing. I've done a little searching over the past few weeks and noticed the approach most users take is to create sites with the only purpose of getting people to sign up through their affiliate ads. My goal is to simply replace Adsense ads with CPA ads on pages that might be relevant to the product (without including information on the product). Is this worth doing or will it be a waste of space?
It really depends on the traffic you get. Normally, I'd suggest getting rid of Adsense on anything that isn't a text-heavy guide or blog. Adsense is an awful way to make money online. The problem with affiliate ads is that you need a lot of clicks before you start generating a few sales. That's why it's great to make storefront sites - they attract people at the point of purchase, rather than hoping that someone who'se reading an article is going to want to click an affiliate banner and buy a product (which is more rare)
I haven't personally tried the way you want to do but you can make it.The same target of getting traffics with some innovation of the normal way.Goodluck and i hope it will be successful.
