    I have heard that mesothelioma get's about $5-$25 a click, but that was in a good economy. You also need to have good SERP's so large people related to mesothelioma will want to advertise on your site and pay the "big bucks" lol

    Unless your blog already has a high ranking, you would probably be better off working with "lower hanging fruits" - keywords with less competition. It seems like everyone and their dog is starting mesothelioma blogs these days.

    Go after something less competitive. I would try to find something in the financial sector where everyone isn't trying to jump on the bandwagon. :)
