Yes I also hoping for same thing as on flat road nothing will change in top order! I am waiting for Friday when real race will begin and I think it will be two way fight Contador Vs Lance. Lance have support from ex-Discovery team mate Levi!

Yes I agree with Team Astana have huge advantage as they have many climbers in team and they can really attack on Mountain ranges! At the we need to wait who will attack first either Lance or Contador. I am sure you remember how Contador attack on Mountain stages 2 years ago and I think he will do it again!
I'm sure Lance will attack this time. Last Friday is Contador turn already. Yeah.. I still remember that 2007 tour. He have a good battle with Rasmussen at that time. To bad that Rasmussen have to drop out from the tour due to doping scandal. - Dynashox -

Well finally Alps started and Contador win the battle as he have now 97 seconds on team mate Lance and I think he is going to win Second Tour De France title unless Lance do magic but he told press that now his focus to support Contador so I think Contador will win the tour. Hat's off Lance, you almost did it but team didn't support you.
Finally, Tour de France come to an end. Contador really deserve the yellow jersey. But 3rd place for Armstrong is not bad at all. I believe he will be much better next year. Well it was great race and I think Lance didn't get support for his team mate Contador but it's still good finish for him and I also read many articles where he mention that he will launch own team next year so it should be exciting for us.
Get ready for the Contador dominance in the next few years. Lance is starting his own team because of the infighting which occurred with Astana, but his best days are over. No way he can compete with the best climbers in the world.
Well I don't think so that his days are over now. He managed to 3rd finish which suggest that he has still something to show to world and one more reason that his role was limited to supporting Contador in the race. But he will surly give best next year!
Lance is 37 years of age. No way he can ride like he use to do like 10 years ago. But coming from nearly 4 years of retirement and yet still manage to get 3rd for overall standing is something that other riders should worry about. I'm sure he will racing for the next year Tour de France better than what he did this year. - Dynashox -
If Lance could have stayed with Contador on the mountain stages he would have. The only time I saw Contador hurting was on the 2nd last stage when Andy was pushing him to his limits, but really he won pretty comfortably. He would have won 3 consecutive tours if it wasn't for the drugs scandal in his old team.
Yes I agree and I think it was worst race when many big guns was not part of Tour last year! I think next year we have cracking Tour and now we should wait next year when we get to know who will join Lance.
