    Hi,

I need your help. I am stuck at second page or third page for all my main keywords for google.com

I have been gaining good grounds but not able to break into the top for the keyword I am targeting. The keywords are highly competitive in nature.

If I have reached the second and third pages for the keywords, it means that I have done most of the work correct. I might be missing one or more tricks here. What do I need to get to the top of these keywords. I mean wht different.

I need your suggestion and advice.

    Thanks

If you are at 2nd or 3rd page than you may be doing something right. All you have to do now is to make more quality backlinks with your targeted phrase. You will surely be in top 10 after some time.

I dunno how it works. Google asks us to build natural links, usually possible when someone finds your content valuable and links it to you. But when the page itself is not indexed, how would the people get through the content and link it. I started a blog, took too much of labour writing good and unique content which also appeared in the first page of google in the first two days and on the third day it disappeared which i presume to be a google penalty. And I find other sites with no good content is appearing for that particular keywords. That said my domain is not new too its pretty 2 year old domain. I dunno if its really worth spending time and labout on the content.

constanly add content related to the keyword. check your internal linking. keep building quality backlinks. thats all you can do. chances are, with a highly competitive keyword, your competitors are doing the same. you just need to out-do them.

Try building high pagerank backlinks. This should give you the push you need for getting to the top of the rankings. Dofollow Blog Commenting is a great method, as is Article Marketing. If you have time, then just wrtie an article, spin it and submit it to the top 5 - 10 article sites. Also, you can look through and hunt for dofollow blogs, and then you can write valuable comments on them with a link back to your site. Or if you don't have time. you can outsource these two tasks.

If you are into the 2 or 3 page then your site is capable of getting into top. What you have to do is update the site with new content or modify the existing content and ping the site. After that you start link building. This will work for sure.

Since you didn't give us the URL(s) in question or keyword phrase(s) you are targetting, you're not really going to get any solid advice other than the standard advice that ALWAYS holds true: Get inbound links to your URL from external sites that are relevant to the topic of your page with the targeted keyword phrase (or slight variations) as the link text.

If we knew your URL, we might be able to suggest some easy on-page/on-site SEO changes that you could make to get a little added boost.

Thank you very much for all your comments.

These are all that I have been doing. I will continue to do these and keep building backlinks.

I will also look at improving my on-page SEO which i know can be improved a bit more.
