    Hello,

After using every seo technique i'd been successful in bringing my site on top 10 in Google.co.in. But my site in Google.com is on 4th page & is getting down everyday but I want to bring it on 1st Page. My query is:

What Should I do to bring it on 1st Page in Google.com?

If I do some changes does it Affect my Position on Google.co.in?

Do this happen if I promote it and it will come on 1st page in Google.com and drop in google.co.in?

Have anyone got something resemblance in promoting yours site in India or (any other country) and comparing it with USA

Well, there is no magical trick to get on the first page. It is all about hard work. Whoever works harder (and obviously knows what they are doing) will make it there. SEO, SEO, SEO!

Firstly you should clear your mind that where you want your listing Google.com or Google.co.in?
Then analyze the search volume of your keyword at both the places.
And most importantly now just view in analytics that where are you getting your audience is it India or US. May be you are getting more traffic from Indian website that's why its ranking on 1st page at co.in

Now i would suggest you to see your back links that from where are you getting back links. Try to get traffic and back links from US based website may be some what your problem get solved.
But these are just tricks no assurance that they surely would work and yes undoubtedly SEO is slow and way long process so you just cant expect any miracle just work hard :)

Get more backlinks from US hosted domains and keep putting up quality content, does your content appeal to US visitors?

    good topic is important.
if you are writing about a unique thing that few people talk about. the article will easily top the google's search result pages.

Typically you are going to rank well in one or the other... not both. That's why you should give consideration to where your target audience will likely be searching (i.e. in which Google would you prefer to rank) BEFORE buying a domain and setting up your web hosting. Typically, if your target audience resides the US or is a global company operating and/or targetting consumers in many countries, it is best to have a domain with a non-country specific TLD like .com, .net, .org, etc. and to host that domain in the US.

If you have a .co.in domain, Google automatically assumes that you are targeting Google.co.in. If you have a .co.in domain you cannot even set your Geo Targetting in Google's Webmaster Tools... a further indicator that domains with country-specific TLDs are assumed by Google to be targetting that country specific index.

It's not impossible to rank well with a .co.in TLD in Google.com... It's just harder. You'll need more inbound links than a typical non-country specific domain would need to rank in that same position on Google.com. And those inbound links will need to come from other domains that are targetting Google.com... not Google.co.in.

As Canonical said, if your domain is country specific domain, Google will automatically think you want to target that location.
Just keep on building links, and hopefully you can achieve top rankings in Google.Com as well.

Thanks Canonical, yes you are right my TLD is .co.in and my specific target country is India. But I'm providing services to all over the world.

But if I do some changes and try to get backlinks from US based sites then do my ranking in Google India will drop?

If your target audience is India then you should focus on google.co.in rankings. If still you need rankings in Google.com then as others have said you will need more backlinks from .com domains. But always keep a balance between promotion in Google.co.in and .com. If you just focus on one specific country then your rankings may shuffle in other countries.

U.S Hosting, More U.S traffic, Decent international traffic etc needed. I had a site hosted in a particular geo location 3 yrs back and the site was top in google search for that country. Later I moved it to U.S and things have changed, it works wonders, try it mate.

How should I keep balance properly? I'm not making any note to my submissions and not keeping history also. So you it is a fact that if we keep promoting for US then my site ranking will be drop in India.

Get backlinks from .com domains, and from sites like social networking sites or US dofollow blogs.

You can try to building backlinks with .com TLD and outside of india sites. Its depends upon server address also. It take some more time to getting rank in 1st page. Just try to international website link building. It will be effect.

Building More Backlinks wont bring down your india rankings, they can only help increase it infact.

Keep balance means, just don't focus too much on US rankings and leave Indian target. Keep watching for India rankings as well and build links from Indian sites as well and at the same time promote aggressively (I don't mean SPAM) in US.

Why you are not making record of what you are doing? Always keep a record of all your activities so that you can judge time to time what you have done and what results you have got from it! This will help you in future.

It depends. If your site is doing well on Google.co.in than it means google find your site useful. Now, you must do some qulaity link building to get rankings in Google.com. With this you can do blogging, social bookmarking, etc.
