i got some question here. what is more important thing . alexa or pagerank . to get page #1 on google

 

Well considering pagerank is a google term, my money would be on that being more important.

 

NON you need good content

 

Let me answer your question with a question, which is more important to you Alexa or Google?

 

neither are important, content and backlinks is what you need

Alexa is a Yahoo Approach to calculate the average traffic it gets. But the technique it use to calculate this is such that Alexa rankings can be altered. So Alexa rankings are not important. Moreover it is a Yahoo Technology and therefore Google results are unaltered by this.

Pagerank is also not a factor in Google rankings. Google rankings are determined by 200 different factors and Page rank is just one of them.

 

Content does help you in ranking.. I thought so until my page was removed just two days after it appeared in google results for keywords for the reason that my domain did not have a number of backlinks..Surprising..despite having written unique (no keyword spam) content.

 

Alexa ofcourse as far as my knowledge is concerned doesn;t have anything to do with the indexing..Both are 2 different companies. Alexa shows the ranking based on the traffic. It doesn;t have anything to do with your backlinks or content.

 

To achieve #1 position? They are both useless. Page rank and alexa won't help you in rankings.

They just certify the number of quality links and visitors of your site.

 

Pr is most important . By which your alexa rank increases so work in getting more PR

 

To get page #1 on google, PR is more important than alexa ranking.
However, SERP contain many factor, PR just one of the minor factor

 

It's not on those two, it's more on the content. You might have read or heard of "Content is King". If you have quality posts and content on your site, which are not only beneficial to you as a writer, but more importantly to readers and web users alike, then you'll have the chance of ranking high on PageRank or Alexa.

the answer is neither. You don't rely on Alexa nor page rank to get into no,1 in Google. What the most important is the ability of getting quality incoming links that are relevant to your web page topics.

Neither Alexa Ratings nor Page Rank really have any influence on how you rank. They are pretty much worthless as indicators of whether your URL will rank well at Google for a particular keyword phrase that you are targetting to drive traffic to your site.

Having unique and compelling content that other sites will WANT to link to freely because they think it is interesting, useful, funny, or whatever is FAR more important to your rankings than PR or Alexa Ratings. Good content generally leads to lots of backlinks (and NOT the unnatural kind you have to "farm" yourself). Having back links w/ the keyword phrases that you want the URL to rank for as the link text is probably THE most important ranking factor. If those links to your URLs w/ good link text are on relevant pages on other sites then that is even better...
