Choice is back on the directory scene (thanks to shawn)

But the point is it was good to do in 2007 ... whatever the intention was it was "mute" as it was ok back then to do...

(agreed with choice that this thread is spiraling towards something else it shouldnt be)

NOTE: As choice mentioned though, they still own and operate there directories so...

I agree with where you're coming from Malcolm. In my experience people weren't trying to rip others off, the people who were big advertisers were also big spenders. We all made mistakes and need to move on. I always like the old quote:

I have many people back after getting banned due to hacking attempts. Even me too !!!!!

 

I suppose I'll keep repeating it because I'm not going to go back through threads looking for names of webmaster that you know only too well if you have been paying attention the last couple of years.
you obviously have some problem recognising the obvious or you would know that these people have passed through here and are not interested in directories anymore.

Some webmasters sucked the life out of directories and moved on when google intervened.

I, to this day, still work in and on some of those directories.

You think that because people leave this forum that they sucked up something and have abandoned directories.

The reason people leave this forum are based on the exact same foolish assumptions you've just conjured up with your posting.
