My dear friend, Seo is a task of waiting and watching so you should not go fast. If you want to place your site in Google soon then you should give full attention towards On page, because Google does not like same content and second you should place your selected keywords in title and description and you should submit your site in good PR directory , blog, blog promotion , article.You should submit social bookmarking also. If your domain is only one month old then you should Wait at least three month than after three month you may place in Google.
simple link building can help.. forums postings w/ sig and social bookmarking can do.. and just be more patience.

Dear Monishka Depending on what you site is about, linking to a site that is relevent to the keyword acts as a pull through. I got a competitive keyword for a site to position 12 in 2 weeks. Yes SEO takes time but depending on the keyword and what you can link to, this plays a huge part. post us more info on the site and the keyword and I can make some suggestions, otherwise follow what the others have said as they are correct. shivun

No it won't. Please stop bringing up this ridiculous concept. And to the OP, the only way that you can guarantee yourself top 10 placement in Google within 3 days, would be to start utilizing Adsense. Unless you have a Google employee that you can bribe, I'm pretty sure that this is the only way to accomplish this task..
I agree with frost. Yes, frost has suggested the proper way here but still I would like to tell one thing about gaining position in just few days just like 3 days is not possible as the entire process of SEO needs some time, actually, more time to be listed in first page.
To have to be a bit patient. SEO results cannot be achieved over-night. Just continue with your efforts of building links. Diversify your link building process t as many sources as possible. Target high PR sites which are from your niche and industry. It took around 3 months for me to get in the first of search results. Just be patient and carry on with your hard work.
So the fact that I have pages from my site showing up in the top ten results 2 weeks after launching my latest website must be a total fluke. I guess I'll send Google an email telling them they made a mistake. Nothing is impossible, you just need to think outside the box.
i dont think that you will be able to be in top 10 within 3 days however you will do any kind of activities, SEO is a Slow process, sometimes it shows results but in the rare cases..
If your site is well written and the content is relevant to your chosen keywords, then it's properly optimized, and this always shows results. SEO does work, the problem is that you have so many people that don't have a clue as to what they're doing giving advice to people that know even less, and it's causing a huge mess. You can absolutely get into the top Google pages in a short amount of time, so long as you know what you're doing. If you're trying for a highly competitive keyword, then your only option (in my opinion) is paid advertising to start off with.

Google may throw you a bone and show your URL on page 1 for a few days as part of your "Google Honeymoon", but the likelihood that you'll be able to stay on page one more than a few days is slim to none. Your goals are unrealistic, even with a relatively non-competitive term. It typically takes months to get there, sometimes a year or more for moderately competitive phrases. The key will be getting inbound links from relevant sites with the targeted keyword phrase you want to rank for as the link text.
