Anyways, I'm not sure as for how old you are, but do you have kids? If you don't want to answer, that's fine.

Don't you think that if it becomes legal (and even controlled) it will be much easier for younger kids to have access?

Look at it like this -- drinking age in Canada is 18 (19 in Quebec). In the USA, the drinking age is 21.

I have lived in BOTH countries, and I can easily say this; In Canada, kids as young as 11, 12, and 13 drink. In the USA, that age goes up a bit, to around 15 or 16.

Now, you may think it is not relevant exactly, but it really is. What I'm saying is that when things are made legal, younger kids began gaining access. Marijuana is already smoked by 12 & 13 year olds. If it is made legal, this number will go even lower.

There is no real answer to this question. No one is going to change sides, which is why it has not been legalized yet. There is a post over at my blog regarding this. There are people on both sides, and you're welcome to join in. Just please don't bring anymore of this "you have no knowledge no-sense". Like you said, don't assume things online

 

personally, i think the US govt should legalize and tax the shit out of it.
