$500 Contest - PSD Only - Homepage Only!

Hello!

REQUIREMENTS

I need you to design me a homepage PSD for a movie links website. The PSD doesn't need to be coded but after I pick a winner, I'd like him/her to design some other pages for me along with some banners and things - I'll be paying extra for this of course.

The name of the website is Flix Index.

- Size should be about 1000x1000px (can be a little bigger).
- Bright colours, nothing dull and dark.
- Requires a fresh logo & mascot to represent the website, bright and cartoony.
- Header should have space for a 728x90 banner sitting next to the logo & mascot (maybe even have the mascot sitting on top of it, be creative).
- Content area should be at least 600px wide.
- Needs a menu for the channels (movies, tv shows, anime, sports, music, documentaries and live streams).
- Needs a visible search bar with drop down menu to select which channel to search from.
- Needs a user login/register area.
- Needs a footer with room for links (contact, tos, advertise, links etc) and a smaller version of the logo and mascot at the side maybe. Take a look at the footer links on youtube.com - although I wouldn't want this many links.

I like the menu on the left, I like the hover effects and the style with the icons, maybe something like this could be used for the website channels (movies, tv shows, anime, sports, music, documentaries and live streams).

I really like the top links area that is integrated into a search area. I also like the colours, that's really good.

I really like the header here (including mascot and logo) and the overall colours used.

I like the top navigation with the hover effects, and also the colours. I don't like the rest of the design though, I think it's too dark overall.

SOUND OFF

• Contest ends in 10 days (25th July).
• No copied or previous work, this must be new, unique and original.
• Be creative and have fun.
• I might give an extra $250 away to a runner up (if we get enough great designs in).

 

Do you have any type of history with these contests? $500 is a lot for someone with 0 iTrader. I'm not accusing you of anything, but many people here are wary of those with 0 iTrader and such a large reward.

 

will see if lots of entries are popping then i might give a pop aswell.. =)

if this is for real, this will be the highest contest offered that i will be submitting...

 

I understand your concern, but honestly don't let my lack of iTrader fool you.

I wouldn't waste my time writing all of this for something I never intend on paying for, you know? I wouldn't expect anything until I've paid.

So let's get the ball rolling!

I think you'll receive a lot more entries if you provide any sort of proof that is a legitimate contest.
Anyway, I'll be glad on join this contest.

 

How do I go about proving that it's legitimate? My word is obviously not enough.

If a Moderator wants to step up and hold the cash whilst this contest is in progress then that'd be fine by me.

It's not that your word its not enough. For me it is.
But many people gave up participating of contest because the fake CH that also said their contest was legitimate.

As I said, Im not doubting of your word, and surely will join this.
It was just a headsup, please dont take this wrong.

There's gonna be more to it, i just wanted to see if you like the main idea.
The logo is just temporary and there to fil the space, it's gonna be replaced later

Thanks for the effort but that really isn't what I'm looking for, everything is very simple and rough, doesn't look like it took you more than 5 minutes to create.
