Question about Hosting

I am a little indecisive and need some help with making a decision about my hosting. When I first started on the internet I went ahead and purchase the baby package with hostgator. I decided I wanted to do some different things and decided to purchase the Aluminum package with Hostgator, too. Now, I am paying monthly for the baby package and aluminum package. Should I keep both packages or just get rid of one of the hosting packages?

Well, you only need one package.

There are other hosts out there who provide the equivalent of both of them together.

I run a website hosting company myself, UK based but our servers are located in USA - we plan to purchase more soon. benokshosting.co.uk

I would get rid of hostgator and move with someone else. That is just my personal opinion, however. From what I have heard rackspace and liquidweb are two of the most reliable hosts with the best U.S. based support staff.

If you don't have any reason to use both packages, then get rid one of them is the best solution for you.

Well it may be confusing but for hosting you are spoilt for choice out there. The others on this thread are correct is saying that there are many providers that offer both these features...and more. I use bluehost for example and cannot complain at all.

Thanks guys! I was thinking about getting rid of the baby plan and keeping the reseller hosting. But I don't know if I want to continue to use reseller hosting from Hostgator and plan to look at some other hosting options.

No need to change your hosting company. Just roll with the reseller and drop the baby plan.
