    Hey Dpers,

There is this DP member fr3shy keep sending me infractions because our ebook exchange deal didn't work out. We supposed to exchange ebooks about AC and he sent me some blackhat ebook unrelated to AC, so the deal didn't work and he said "no worries".

Now he keep giving me infractions for my threads and posts, reported this matter to the MODs and got a reply saying they can't do anything about it and I have to live with it - alright I can not a problem and no complaints because I understand your workloads, but nothing has been done againts the member.

I need your view and suggestion on what can I do to stop this guy from keep doing it. If nothing goes by, then anyone can simply send infractions to people they don't like and get them banned? There is no such rules to stop this act?

First of all let me tell you one thing that members can't ability to give you infraction unless he/she is a mod or admin.

Moreover that i can't find any issue related to iTraders in your account.

So i bet that you are definately talking about Reputation. Am i right ?

Yes it's about reputation, members can give them. Not the ones that Mods and Admin gives out.

Insert standard "I'm not an attorney nor am I a mod here" disclaimer.

Honest viewpoint: In my own hosting ToS/AuP, harassment of another client and/or staff member will get your account canceled by me. The folks we contract out out tech support with as well as some very long term clients who I trust and act as support forum mods have the power to suspend both their hosting and forum support accounts until I review the situation. Nothing happens until I send off a few docs and evidence to the attorneys and at the very least get back to me with a "received" reply.

In 14 years, I think I've booted 3 clients. All of those stem from a single incident where a client found out she was pregnant, was determined to be high risk, and asked for advice.

To be honest though, stuff like this is not for public airing. Here in the US, publishing an account of harassment opens you up for a liable (that's not the word I'm thinking of) lawsuit.

On the other hard, we do f'around in the forums quite often. We do all stop though if it gets a bit rough.

    But that's just me.

Again, something we've already covered over and over again (which you admit). Reputation is unmoderated. No one sees your reputation but you. If you don't want to see it, minimize it in your usercp until it's no longer in the most recent 5. People can leave rep (positive or negative) for anything that they want.
