    I am atleast hoping that we will get out cheque little quickly rather than to wait for it for 25 days.

    Do you think that we will get it faster than we are getting now, if their branch will be in India?

    no branch here. Just development center.. They might open a Branch in the next or next to that year... That means u wil see "PAYPAL NAMASTE YOU" Message soon (in one year or 2)
    So there is nothing now..... It is a talk of FUTURE TENSE... So people should not Predict it.. Like a fortune teller..

    Just a thought came to my mind, if paypal fails to send checks quickly I am assuing there would be some trouble for that office of paypal. You understand ..... hee hee hee

    Though it is a good news. But until and unless they have a office here in India i don't think cheques will be issued from India itself.

    If they issue cheques from India and it takes 5 - 7 days then its a THUMBS UP for paypal.

    At least for 12 months, they'll study the situation, then they'll start their normal operation in INDIA, which includes issuing checks and paypal cards...

    LOL yet paypal is not distributing the cards to UK then how come for India...
    They thing only OF US.... mainly
    other countries doesn't matter them much... I do not like to shut my eyes and belive on Unbeliveable

    I am surprised how people dug up such 2 year old thread! :eek:

    Btw...going through the whole thread was really interesting as I shudder to even think of not having the direct bank withdrawal as available now! :eek:

    I am amused that just in early 2007, people used to wait for paypal checks...in India! And here I am, just started in late 2008, have taken for granted the direct to bank withdrawal facility...as a given! :rolleyes:
