    whois says
    Domain Name: BLASTOMATIC.COM
    Created on: 19-MAR-00

alexa says the site has some traffic above beginners's sites

hence it is quiet an old site - too old for a spam only site

new guys get different ideas and some of them never done before might work
    since its free
the only method to really know what it is is to try it
since free = nothng to lose except a few minutes

    btw
a few minutes of site research also shows
    death links
    missing page content
    ...
    links to domains with PR0
    ...

It submits to FFAs, which don't do you any good but then also submits your email address to about a million spam lists.

Great. I could use another 300 spammy emails a day to go on top of my already 500 spammy email a day.

about 2 years ago I submitted 2 or 3 links to an FFA on a Bangladesh search engine's site in addition to their directory
I got a few thousand visitors / m alone from that search engines FFA ... henc eto generalize that FFA is no good may be valid only in many never in all cases

later that search engine removed the FFA and I permanently lost that part of traffic
I got far more traffic from the FFA than from that SE's directory
now i seldome use FFA but I always look at each individual FFA before deciding

in above thread case it may of course be thousands of empy FFA - just set up for the purpose of automated mass-linking and in most cases worthless

FFAs are never good news, many people cite them as a prime example of a Google bad neighbourhood.

You have to keep adding links to FFAs because they get knocked off after some time right?
I tried once or twice years ago, and gave up totally on it :D
