i don't know about that cos I have experience the Google Dance.. But I think if Google Doesn't want me then I will make a move on that.
Google kicks azz "anyone's azz" sometimes you've got to get lucky in the SEO world! I've been able to hold two premium keywords, though this in itself has sucked all the link juice from all my sites. ROOFIS
Yes Google has been helping me a lot, by giving me great positions in their search engines and therefore letting me earn a lot of Dollars through their publishers program - Blogger.
If you do respect and follow the google guidelines, google will like you as well and send you visitors for free. There is no mysterium, just some simple terms of using like any other service in the web. Go white hat strictly, even not grey and you'll never see the devil...

Yeah! I m blessed from Google by Adsense! However Google also likes me among strong SERP for few sites
I would say yes by rankings...but it isn't really Google blessing me - it's a combination of understanding google and feeding it the information that it needs to fulfil it's role. I don't think it's higher than the human understanding of content.
