Reputation/Rep Points

The Rep FAQ here says this :

Where do I find out how many rep points I have?

- Go to your user CP and you shall find the box as shown below that says your rep points in the header to the right, for example in this picture I have 86 points


...but there's no image there and I can't find anything at all to do with rep from my user CP, does anyone know how I can find it please? I'm not massively bothered about rep and rep points, but if it's here and people are repping/negging me it'd be good to see why, etc.

Nah I don't have it, I just have new subscribed threads and no more boxes. I'm on another forum that has rep points the same as this and have no problem with that, but this account on here doesn't have that box. Maybe my account has a problem with it?

Also : I'm not subscribing to any of these threads, it just seems to be randomly subscribing me to some that I post in without me doing anything....maybe I should make another account because this one's bugged?

You should see that box now! Look for 'Latest Reputation Received.'

 

It's not bugged. You haven't received any rep comments yet, that is why you don't see it.

And you have your options set to automatically subscribe you to any thread that you participate in. If you want to change that you can go to User CP > Edit Options Find where it says Default Thread Subscription Mode, and change that to Do Not Subscribe. Then remember to save your settings.

Yes, I also think so. Still you haven't yet received any reputation point. Keep posting good and interesting comments. Hope within a day or two you'll find it.

 

how will i earn points and what benifits can it do to me?

 

if your posts are helpful to any members then they give you a rep

benefits ? no benefits but it shows you are a good member

Thanks guys, now that a few of you added rep it showed up. I was just thinking my account might be bugged or something, which I knew probably wasn't the case, but i just couldn't figure out what was happening as I thought the rep box would be at least there as in the header even if no rep was given yet.
