I cannot call this "Google Dance" or something else because results are very depressive and annoying, actually my website results in Google was in under 100 pages but suddenly one day i checked its all gone and Google kick them out of 100 results pages, i was very depressed and annoyed but cannot do anything so i just again started working on my website to get promote again to Google under 100 pages but now some of my link where were coming in 10 to 12 pages in google now i cannot see them till 40 pages. Is it a google dance or something else. Please help me to get back my website in the same position.
I'm gathering that 40 of the 100 pages are back to their respected positions? if so this is at least a start. This happened to me quite recently where I disappeared from my number one keyword though I did return about 4 days later I lost 1PR ranking point but I'm still no top of the SERP's. The google dance seems to happen at the time of PR updates and I think this is the same story with your site. you could try a proxy or download anchor free vpn software (it's free) and this will allow you to see googles most recent updates. It gives you a view point from an American ip address which is where most of the first indexing updates appear. Other than that If you know that you've not utilized any black hat SEO (spam links, auto postings, duplicate content, etc) and your pages have their meta tags, title in order (see your google webmaster tools and w3.org) then you shouldn't worry as stated it's happened to me and my pages have reappeared in google's index The best thing to is keep on building links to recent stories and sites via commenting and link exchange programs as this should help you in traffic and indexing. Such fluctuation in serp is visible if you are putting in efforts intermittently. Do you do your site promotion activity in batches and not regularly? If so, do make it a habit to be consistent in the same as this process is an on-going one and required regular dedication! Regards, RightMan
I think you are right , If I don't touch my blog for one week then I think that starts skipping from their positions and when again I became active they start getting normal . Right now blog is recovering its position and I am working very hard .
that's where the competition happens.. i think its something to do with you link building.. quality, quantity and relevancy of link really helps..
If you think it's Google Dance then you will recover your rankings in a week or so. If your website is being penalized then can't say
I would say that you have to make sure yo do the regular updates cos you will be not in the position but If you gotta make the regular updates on your site then your standings will be good as well..
Google is not dancing.. but now G became more punctual... indexing frequently, updating Bl weekly twise and PR monthly 1-2 times..... So the changes impacting quicky on ranking so all says google dancing
Shouldn't take you that long to recover, Just hold onto your horses, Google Messes up from time to time
This same thing happened to me, and unfortunately my sites never got back to the firsts positions for some keywords in serps. I hope google algorithms changes more times.
Yes, now i have only this hope to stay calm for the time being until google take a glance at me again
So what kind of tune are you dancing with Google? Just kidding. Here's a tip atleast spend 1-2 hours a day building links or doing seo stuff and that should keep from dancing.
Don't you just love the way Google commands so much of your SEO attempts and no matter what you do they are always in control? Dave
Don't conclude it as a penalty, or Google Dance. It's competition. Every webmasters eyeing the top ranking.
