I created another account because I have need more than 25 campaigns but only allowed 25 by adwords. After I created this second account, I found out my hosting company was giving out $25 dollars adwords coupon, therefore I used it on the new account. Please investigate before account suspension. My original account, I did not use any promotion code, and faithfully paying whatever i owed. For many months. But this is so harsh... no mercy and google doesn't believe in second chances. But that's human nature, when I am as big and as rich as google, I can be that arrogant. So sad that google doesn't want my money anymore, I spent $1000 last month.
Well, Google has rules and they don't like people breaking them. It's all there in their TOS. Usually, they give you a warning of a problem. This is normally something to do with your ad or your site. However, if you keep repeating the problem, they will suspend your account. In your particular case, I guess they are clamping down on people with more than one account and have no mercy. I think many others in the same boat might soon get the same message and have their accounts suspended. By the way, for those who might need more than 25 campaigns (that's 25 active campaigns, you can have lots more in-active ones), you can ask Google to give you more. They just might allow it.
Anyone else think that's a little harsh? I seem to remember someone suggesting waiting a few months and reapplying. That may be something to consider.
Consider I was paying them $1,000 per month for the last 5 months. I would expect better customer service. I don't think any other business in the United State would say to a customer, "please don't contact us again!!!" Even if it's my fault, it was truly a honest mistake. I think i was probably dealing with a really nasty Becca Gorilla . Thanks for your suggestion, I am going to try "Bing" out first, hopefully Bing doesn't disappoint me.
That was predictable.. good thing i never used the one I received from GoDaddy. Did they refund your balance?
They may care if all of them were created using adwords vouchers or coupons. Also they don't want you to break the rule of using same keywords under different account names. That's why they want all accounts to be connected via MCC.
no, I still owe them $248. It said billed once reached $500. multiple accounts is not a problem, I think they have a program that will raise a red flag when you are trying to advertise the same keywords for same website at the same time using a promotional code in the account. I advertised the same keyboards on the new account because i forgot i already had it running under my originally account, which immediately raised a red flag and auto stopped running my account. All they have to do is to tell me delete my new account, death sentence will not benefit them in the long run, they can afford to do it now because they are pretty much a monopoly in the field earning close to 70% of the ad market.
If you still owe them that, I certainly wouldn't be running to them to pay it anytime soon. Maybe it will just go away with the account cancellation.
Watch them sue. Goodness knows it;s not worth the effort to sue them but of course they won't see it that way.

Actually, it probably happens more often than you think. > Even if it's my fault, it was truly a honest mistake. I empathize, I truly do. But there are rules to using Adwords that Google imposes for the privilege of using their system and leverage their huge traffic. These rules are meant to protect the users, other advertisers and most important to Google, their brand. An analogy to your comment is someone driving while drunk saying "please judge. Don't put me in jail and take my car away. I didn't realize/know you couldn't do that. I won't do it again". The rules of society are there for all to consult and there's no excuse not to know them. The moral of the story is, read that TOS and abide by it. Unfortunately for you, it's game over, but a lesson for the rest of us.
It's actually not all there in the TOS. I read it yesterday and it doesn't say anything about opening multiple accounts and it never mentions promotion codes. WTF? I don't think I've ever seen a company with worse customer service. Can anyone else think of a company that won't even speak to a customer who's spending $1000 per month over the phone? I don't get them sometimes.
Well, only way now, it to open new acc. ( however they ask You not to open anymore ), but on new acc. NEVER use a voucher. If You will use, they fill ban another acc. Simply, they check each acc. that was used a voucher.
Google has very strict rules. I opened my account with Google while i was traveling. I made a payment with my credit card from U.S. They checked my IP and did not let me open the account. I tried to talk to them. I spoke to 4 different agents but they said that I can not open my account with Google, on top of that they said they can not tell the reason as well.
my only concern is that i will be using the same credit card as well as same business address. I can get another credit card, but business name cannot be changed.
By the way, may I ask a question for anyone can answer? I have an MCC account and manage multiple accounts for my clients, most of single account linked in MCC used promotional code, they are well operated till now. However, I intend to use each single account until its budget (voucher + 10$ to activate) is out and I will cancel this account. May I will be suspended adwords MCC account by any policy of Google?
