what happened to the users?

    last time i logged in i saw 320k+ users (the stats at the bottom of the home page)
    currently, i see only around 287k members :eek:

    what happened to more than 30k members?? is shawn on a clean up drive? :p

    I believe that Shawn and the Mods are on a clean up drive to get rid of the spammers. I'm guessing it's never ending....as soon as you delete one, 5 more pop up!

    It may be that all the really..... Old members that have been inactive for years are being removed... OR those with permenant bans?

    @boxie - you won't be next as long as you're a member in good standing! I think Shawn and the Mods are trying to bring the forum back to the way it was in the glory days....when and what that was I don't know!!

    @ms2134 - I have seen a resurgence of some old members recently, such as Shawn, Blogmaster, and even Nintendo made a return recently.
