Fortunately not much: IE 7.0 - 41.39% IE 8.0 - 29.83% 6.0 - 28.69% 5.0 - 0.05% This is just for IE users and they are 33.35% of all the users. The statistics is form site with 8000+ unique per day
Gone to check the routers: MSIE is at 41.1 % with 8.0 gets 9.2 7.0 (and 7.01) gets 17.4 6.0 gets 14.1 5.5 gets 0.2 And the rest gets hits but all under a tenth of a percentage point. That's on roughly 34 million hits a day through the routers. Percentages are since the beginning of the month and compiled as of (I believe) 5 am this morning US eastern time. Firefox 3.0.11 leads with 23.3% I have a large unknown with 12.4%. Have to work on getting that down. Probably blog comment and forums spammers or the email stats data getting mixed in there again. Just noticed iPods and iPhone aren't listed. edit: Had a Firefox 0.8 user with 8 page views this month. I wonder what they viewed....
I just deleted IE6 was using from last 3 years! but due to desperate popups from Microsoft Update! just updated to newer version! But i think! it was far better than new version
Well, I also have IE6 in my PC but I use it rarely... Most of the time I use Chrome and Firefox... - Digital -
IE tries hard. Being in marketing i just love the fact that there are plugins for my kind of use. I am trying out a new one called alexa sparky. its neat. but not as fulfilling as compete(dot).com it shows sites activities.
I was using it till a few weeks back. Then, I had an issue with my PC and sent it to my dealer. He reinstalled windows on my machine. Now, windows keeps downloading updates from the net....it even upgraded my PC to latest version of IE.....
IE is more used, not necessarily more popular. Being most used does not always equal popularity, especially if the user is unaware of the alterntives.
Nope. As I'm using Vista, it's preinstalled with IE7. But who want to use an IE if Firefox is far away better. - Dynashox -
