    He is visible if you have slow internet connection. First of all Admins are loaded, then follow moderators, registered members and guest.

    SMF has a map mod that shows the user name, so yes its possible.

    I hope there'd be an opt-in/out option for that! Bit of a privacy invasion if not...

    I personally don't really care about people knowing my rough location.. I'm too boring for anyone to want to hunt down ^_^ lol

    But for those who don't like to reveal their whereabouts, that SMF thing sounds horrible ... >.< (quite appropriate for SMF really..)

    its not something the developers at SMF created but a person who made the mod. users have to add their pin to the map, its not an automatic thing.
