Show tags underneath blog post or not?

    On wordpress, you can add (alot of) tags and show them underneath each blog post. But i found out that too much tags is ugly too. (I'm not talking about tags on sidebar)

    Does showing tags underneath blog post is really helping my blog post to be indexed on search engine? Is it SEO friendly? What about just make them invisible? Does this work the same with tags on sidebar? Or tags on sidebar is enough?

    The use of tags can help your site in terms of SERP to get indexed your keywords.

    Tags underneath post has SEO value that should be used with variation of keywords.

    Think about it logically. Of course you want to do this. If you don't link to the relevant tags on each individual blog post how would you link to the tag pages? Placing only the popular tags in the sidebar is not best for SEO because the less popular tags will not get any link juice.

    Thanks for the info. I like when you say "link juice". Is there more I need to know about tagging? I know alot of blogs that dont have bunch of tags, but they still in good standing.
