    Hello guys.

This is my first Clickbank Journal and I shall be updating this everyday for 14 days from Tuesday 14th July 2009 when the Journal will go live.

A little information about this Clickbank Journal

    Who its Targetting?

The target audience are Affiliate marketing beginners as I will be showing you how you can get a Clickbank sale in 14 days after starting your Clickbank journey.

Although this Journal will be targeting beginners it does not mean there won't be some hidden tips being shared with everyone who takes interest in the journal.

Subscribe to the Official Clickbank Journal where I shall be writing in-depth recordings and tutorials on making a sale within 14 days right here.

14 Days to make a Clickbank Sale.

What will I do over this 14 day period?

    1. Register the domain, build the website, get the website live.
    2. Do the on-page optimisation and start link building.
    3. Promote the website on various websites using various techniques.
    4. Alter, experiment and test various strategies.
    5. Use Article marketing amongst many other marketing techniques to increase traffic and potential sales.
    6. Make the sale.

    What market have I chosen?

The market I am choosing is the Forex market. A market I have had a lot of experience with and grown to like because besides its ups and downs and its greedy publishers you can still make some good commission in this market with or without refunds.

You maybe wondering why I chose this market if I am focusing on teaching beginners how to make a sale with Clickbank. Its because I know you can make a sale in the Forex market quite easily if you know how to and if you don't well I am going to be telling you how.

Whats the Win the Website all about in the Title?

If you saw this then your in for a treat. As the core amount of information that I will be recording and writing for this Clickbank Journal will be sent to a newsletter group set up just for this Journal.

I wanted to create an incentive other than to subscribe just for the mass amount of information and tips that are going to be available over the 14 day period and I also wanted to thank everyone for reading the journal so I thought the best way of doing this would be to give away the exact website I will be using in the Clickbank Journal to a randomly selected subscriber of the 14 Days to make a Sale newsletter list.

At the end of the Clickbank Journal I will be randomly selecting one subscriber to take away the website I use in this Clickbank Journal. The website will also be professionally optimised for the search engines, for the product name so the chances you will make future sales are high.

You can read the official open entry of the 14 Days to make a Sale Clickbank Journal here. Where you can also subscribe to the newsletter.

14 Days to make a Clickbank Sale.

Just to make it clear: I will be updating this thread everyday during the journal's life span however if you want to read the official in-depth journal entries as well as having a chance to win the website you can subscribe to the newsletter using the link above.

Phaz is a friend of Willyboy104 on another forum where he posted about his ban. Since Willyboy104 can't post here at the minute, Phaz was just updating people who read this thread.

Hello again, I am very sorry about that it caused a lot of inconvenience however DP admins banned me for answering someones question within a thread instead of PMing them, yes believe it.

Anyways, as my friends have said within the thread I shall now be starting this journal on Sunday 26th July due to me being away from Friday - Mid afternoon Sunday for UKs largest dance festival (cannot wait). However I shall get the ball rolling on Sunday and I hope everyone enjoys the journal. If anyone has any questions at all, feel free to give me a shout here or via E-mail or PM.

    Thanks

Update: I have been doing some research and it seems their are a couple of forex products that are going to be released soon, one that is going to be released next week however I am not sure if its fair to use a product launch to write a journal on because of the ease of getting sales during a product's launch.

So instead I am considering going for a forex product that has been on clickbank for several months now and has a steady yet small gravity, I am hoping that this will convert well. Its been tried and tested in the past by myself so I think it will work.

I will be sharing all my techniques with you guys here, and I will be sharing much more through my official newsletter.

I am usually weary when it comes to promoting forex products. They sell well but their clickbank refund rates are just too big and i find that a waste of energy and time. But the upside of it is that you get to rake in cash really soon and fast.

Yeah I do admit, Forex products can be hard to convert in to a sale which doesn't get a refund but I think its a lot about the product you choose. If you choose a decent, reputable Forex product then your already going to decrease your refund rate before you have begun marketing and selling the product.

I shall be discussing all this in the journal over the next couple of weeks.

    Hi

I find this quite exciting. I am new to this field so I will be following you.
Hopefully you would be telling how you gather and present your content like for articles since the quality of content as per me also plays a role since I have written several spun-off articles in a niche and yet to make a convert :(.

Hello guys, OK the Journal has begun. I have sent my first E-mail to my 14 days to make a sale Journal subscribers and I am now updating you guys here.

As you know I have chosen the Forex market to choose to promote a product and make a sale within 14 days. Now some of you maybe wondering why I have chosen the Forex market considering I am aiming this journal more at beginners of Affiliate marketing rather than the more experienced Affiliate marketers however I believe that the Forex market is one of the easiest markets to make a sale in, and although the refund rate is HIGH (believe me when I say that) it is a good experience for beginners and would help them learn many marketing techniques very quickly as most techniques convert.

What to look out for when choosing a Clickbank Product?

    The way I choose a product to promote in Clickbank is by looking at each product that interests me from both an Affiliate perspective and a potential customer's perspective. What I mean by this is there are two ways of analysing a product the first is;

    Affiliate Marketer's Perspective

You find a product in the market you have chosen, this case the Forex market and you analyse the product using several peices of information.

    1. Gravity
    2. Commission Price
    3. Commission Percentage
    4. Conversion Rate (if noted)
    5. Affiliate Material (check if there is any material for affiliates to use)
    6. Percentage Reffered
    7. How long the product has been on sale

Now this is quite a lot to do for each product however it is important that you do this, especially in the Forex market where refund rates can be scorchingly high. Take my last 60 day period where I have had 50 sales but 24 refunds for my Forex product promotions. Now although the refund rate is high overall over 70% of those refunds come from two products alone which gather 19 refunds in total. This is why it is important to analyse a product, to ensure its a winner not a loser.

    So you analyse the product and look for all those key features and then you go back and analyse it again from the;

    Potential Customer's Perspective

In this perspective you analyse the

    1. Sales Page
    - 1. Make sure the sales page offers a money back guarantee.
    - 2. Make sure the sales page defines the product, its features and the benefits to the customer.
    - 3. Make sure the sales page looks aesthetically pleasing and professional.
    - 4. Make sure they offer customer support and that it doesn't ask customers to jump through hoops.
    2. Compare the price of that product to other products on the market.

These are also very important steps to make, although you may find a product that sounds amazing from the affiliate's point of view, unless it looks to convert well for the customers then there is no point promoting it.

Well, now you have done this, what Forex product have you chosen?

I have chosen to promote the Forex Megadroid software, the reasons for this is that I have had experience with this Forex product in the past and I know that it converts quite well and has a low refund rate compared to other Forex products.

Also the product has been on sale for several months now which for a Forex product is very good as it means the product does convert quite well and that the publishers are not likely to be trying to take advantage of its affiliates by gatheting lots of traffic then suddenly changing the sales page to an opt in page (WATCH OUT FOR THIS).

The product has a good sale price and a good commission, it has a nice clean and informational sales page and provides useful affiliate material.

Overall this product is a good choice with its high and stable gravity which its kept for the past several months, with the right promotional techniques it could bve very easy to bring a sale in.

    What Next?

    Now I have chosen the product, tomorrow I will be doing the following;

    1. Choosing the domain name
    2. Setting up the website
    3. Writing promotional articles
    4. Starting link building
    5. Adding the website to GWT and GA.
    6. Starting the promotion of the product.

I hope you enjoyed the first part of the Clickbank journal, sorry that it may of been quite chatty I am very tired as I have been at Global Gathering UK dance festival all weekend and very tired from a 3 hour set of Armin Van Buuren which was amazing, but anyways tomorrows journal entry shall be better.
