Is there a tool that can check backlinks for a specific page?

    I need a tool that can check a certian url because it all of a suden ranks really high, im just curious what i did with it. If i could find where the backlinks are coming from, i would do the same thing to other pages..

    Let me know if there is a tool like that. thanks

    Is there a tool that will tell you how many different domains backlink to a specific domain? MY thinking is that the first link from a domain is much more valuable than the second or the nth.

    So a backlink checker that gives both the name of domains linking in, as well as the number of links, would be much more valuable.

    Thoughts?
