That is a web 2.0 look.... And yeah nice portfolio man, not the most creative thing I have ever seen but it does its job, clean lines, text etc. My suggestion would be to throw a background in behind the whole thing. Nice to see another NSW boy on here Go the blues in origin tonight
It looks very sleek in my opinion. It's not 100% professional, but as professional as a personal portfolio can get. I struggle with looking professional because I am a young freelancer, but I can say your portfolio is professional.
Your website design is far too simple, and that character is weird and looks irrelevant to me! Makes me think you think you're a genius at web design (not with the template you have for yourself!) and that you have a goatee or something (why would I care?) The colours are meh, too simple like I said, and also the domain name is horrible - not pronounceable.
in my opinion your portfolio site is quite simple but the approach is good since it looks like its having a professionalism.. But I think you must add more contents on it..
Nice design, but I can suggest you to improve it more. The message on the top need more work you can try different fonts and can make the style different.
I like it. Good colors, it's clean and simple. Maybe you should make it a bit more personal. Some more of your flavor, things you like. But it's very nice man.
I would take your fast food work out of your resume its not related and makes you seem a step below professional
