All right, I just bought a domain I plan on making a website that has all the seasons of a show called "Kenny vs Spenny". My domain is below, I did not use "vs" in it. Will I still run in to legal problems?
My website is going to be promoting the show. People have uploaded the show on youtube, so I'm going to grab those videos so I don't have anything on my sever. I was asking this because a website that dose something like this had to give up there domain I'm 100% sure its not safe to use WatchKennyvsSpenny.com, but will my domain be safe if I dont have the "vs" in it? Thanks.
Nice observation. Only it's not completely true: http://www.neilvandyke.org/whorkut/ While that's since been resolved amicably, that goes to show Google can take action. Whether they'll go after other sites using their trademark is solely for them to decide, just as cops will decide whom traffic violators to catch if they can. To the OP: you could, but that depends if the show's creators will see fit. Do be aware of what you're possibly getting yourself into, especially if you are in their physical reach. Beyond that, enjoy life.
