YouTub'es Partnership Programme

Does anyone actually earn a substantial amount of income, or know anyone who earns a substantial amount off of YouTube's partnership programme?

Obviously it will vary from person to person based on subs, views etc but does anyone actually make like above $50 a day with it.

It's it just like adsense but based on impressions? How exactly does it work?

I tried looking on YouTube's website for details on earnings but it seems to be very limited on info apart from a couple of crappy "partnership stories".

The end of the month report is not detailed enough to say how many impressions and how much per click you made. All the adsense report says is youtube - $$$

And the youtube earnings are not like your regular adsense account. You do not get daily updates. The earnings are posted at the end of the month, usually around the 20th - 25th of each month, and that is for the previous month.

So you will not see Junes youtube earnings until around July 20 - 25.

There is not a lot of information about earnings or the program. Youtube partners seem to be a little more secretive about their earnings, as compared to non-youtube people.

I am a youtube partner, and its been worth my time. I'am not going to go into detail about everything, but if you produce videos on a regular basis, then it would be worth your time to join.

But,,, and here is the key thing, it is difficult to get into the partner program. I did not apply until my account was almost 1 year old and had around 175 videos on it. My total views were probably close to 1 million before I applied, but I was also accepted on my first application.

As a partner you will be held to a higher standard then regular members. You can not post copyright infringing material, it has to be your own production and 100% your property.
