i have had no luck with adsense in the past, it has only managed to cost me money and gotten me nowhere. any idea what is going wrong?
I use AdWords to advertise my website, so in a way AdSense costs me money too. It has been mentioned on this forum before that content is what will make your website/blog interesting for the visitors. Good, rich content=visitors=money from AdSense. And of course good ad placement can make a huge difference in clicks.
Never start a website with the primary aim of making money. Pay more attention to satisfying the needs of the visitors by providing good contents and money making may be the alternative part. To begin with, the earnings may be slow or even nil but continue updating your site and pull in traffic. first of all, if the site is not actually making money for u than y would u use adwords for that! Any new website should be started with free marketing techniques to see if the site has earning potential, than advertise it and explode the earnings. And more importantly dont use adwords if you dont actually know what u are actually doing, it can cause you lots and lots money
