I have trouble staying organized when I'm working on different projects. I get caught up on different things and before I know it everything is a mess. How do you keep everything in order? So far I have lots of sticky notes and a notebook. Still plenty of room for improvement..
very simple my friend. when u end up your day, make a note for yourself for the next day, sort of things to do, priority wise (now you have to set the priorities, no one else can do for you) and than stick to that to dos. in between, you may face another newer challenges for that day you have to juggle between the tasks. give it a try, it will surely do you help.

Priority wise, and time management..Try to take notes on those things that you usually make a mess off Start making a "TO DO LIST" note.
If you are starting out dont involve yourself in many projects. Its best to start with one and work your way up. I still prefer taking notes in a small notepad to track my projects.

If you're on a Mac, you should try using Bento. There's a free alternative for Windows and it's called Data4Life. You should check it out. Although if you can't be with your computer every time, it would still be better to just stick to the traditional notebook.
Me and my friend work on some websites together, so to manage things, we bought a separate domain where we have installed a work bench called Opengoo. Here is the manual http://wiki.opengoo.org/doku.php If you like it, you can install it on some of your domain or on a local hosts..... For my personal tasks, i maintain a diary....
Excell documents for anything important, and a book + pen to hand for quick scribbling Try to have a rough plan of what you need to get done in a day, and don't let yourself get side tracked unless it's absolutely necisary
I write my plans on an excel sheet with estimated timeline. You can try this method. You can also make a chart and keep it on your table in front of your eyes.
Stop working and organise yourself for a couple of months. Everything should be organised during this time: housework, paperwork, clothes, diaries. Take another week to decide what your priorities are. Sounds drastic and it is difficult getting into a position where you can take such action but it's worth it
Same happen to me. I bought one big white board and put right there all the thing I MUST DO. Even the "eat" point.
