Good point ,now you should try PPP for several months if the issue about bugs in hypervm gone then immediately return to hypervm cuz safe your money
Sorry to burst your bubble here everyone. HyperVM is NOT SECURE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. The owner is dead so no security is being maintained, and there are at least 17 different exploits that are known, there are definitely more out there though. Check out the LXlabs forums, where there are plenty of updates
i read some post in lxlab said 2.0.7992 already safe, people on Webhostingtalk forums have tested the exploit. Also milw0rm report states clearly "kloxo"... Vulnerable for kloxo : milw0rm.com/exploits/8880
That is true, however the owner is dead and it is not being maintained. Those exploits that you posted are also partly for HyperVM. You are going to wait two years for an update to HyperVM, think of all the exploits that will come out for it by then...
True, its not a good ideal to built your business around abandon-ware. the project seems dead to me as its parent company(lxlabs) as gone out of business
actually the server in kansas but we taken from quillhost .. also our rDNS not already setup ,will update soon not yet, the issue his family want continue to develop .. in another case why not try whit mod security ??
Its going Open Source The project seems to be hanging in mid air and If I was in your place I would I stopped using it by now. maybe later you can start using again when there is active development & regular security patches are released. Just my two cents
