Adsense is the first step you make in the world of online earning. Congratuations! You will soon learn more new stuffs and realize that adsense is not the only way to earn good money. You will soon post for affiliate marketing. People do make 10K per month. Making 10K personally aint impossible. But can you handle 10K per month? Think about it one day.
The truth is a lot of hardwork. there is nothing as wakeup in the morning and get rich in the evening. You have to learn and apply a lot to your adsense business.

For one the DP owner who is probably a member here makes at least 10,000 dollars a month from I got form this forum. Adsense is not for anyone as it needs a lot of hard work, patience, getting traffic, Good SEO, and knowing your niche. Some might be lying I do not know that for sure... but I am not the one who makes 10 grand a month. Thanks JulieV
Definitely. I still remember last year (October 2008) how I am only making USD0.50 a month! And after few months of putting my best effort into Adsense Im now averaging $50 to $70 a day (not including affiliate commission averaging $20 a day). It is not as much as 10k but my adsense earning keep increasing month after month (talking about 100% to 300%). Hopefully I will reach the 10k mark!
You decide whether it's a jackpot or not. Learn the essential, start doing what you need to do and have a lot of patience.
As Mobius pointed out, why are we bringing up threads from three years ago? The DP Adsense section is really on its arse at the moment. Reminds me of the Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi.
I think many "gurus" online have hyped up just how much money you can generate with adsense and just how easy. The truth is that it is harder than usually advertized in many sales pitches. Nothing is mentioned on the fact that: -you need more than one niche -you need to select keywords that are not oversaturated -if you create over-saturated keywords you have to have a killer marketing plan -you have to have exceptional content -you have to create "community" blogs etc etc.... most people are also not willing to spend much on gd content writers.....
manage on getting quality domain names, high pagerank, premium daily content, and consistent traffic before even considering making money off it.. your personal blog or myspace are not included unless your a celeb.
Most people haven't a clue about Adsense and don't earn much. There is a small percentage however, that are earning huge amounts of cash with it and know exactly how to earn large amounts with minimal effort. It's not impossible to earn a living from Adsense but it's not easy for most of us.
I only have one site- but I post 3-4 sports articles a day. I'm making pennies a day but getting over 200 hits but not a lot of clicks Am I normal?
