Is Sitepoint of no use in terms of backlinks?

    On Sitepoint forum the signature links are not visible if you logged out.Does this mean that the signatures will remain invisible to Google.

    If the signature is not visible when you're not log-in it's really useless because search engine would not see or indexed the links.

    am not aware if they have changed their sig policy, but you can know by checking the cached version of any page and see if the links are visible to google

    Sitepoint sig links are totally useless for directly improving SE performance, since the SE spiders don't see the links at all - the links are only visible to logged in forum members. You might get some click through traffic from other forum members but the sig link worth is very low.

    Unless they have specifically allowed google bot to see the links, it will not count.

    You can test for this by viewing any thread in the google cache.

    We don't show signatures to spiders, it doesn't matter how many posts you have.
